General information
- WATER IS A SCARCE COMMODITY. PLEASE USE SPARINGLY.
- Wherever possible, teams must please be at their venue 5 mins before they go on for their next game.
- Powerade will be available at each venue. Teams must please help themselves.
- Cloakrooms available at the Tennis Pavilion, After Care, at the side of the Minor-Hall, Swimming Pool and Squash Courts
- Tea and Coffee for spectators in the Minor-Hall
- Tea and Coffee for staff and coaches in the Tennis Pavilion
- Please support the Food Trucks and PTA tuckshop
- Lunches for players can be collected or enjoyed in the Powis Hall in the school from 12:00 each day
- No injury time, injured players may be substituted during treatment period
- Umpires/referees to please ref the game after their game except for polo (neutral refs)
- Matches must please start on time in order to keep the programme running smoothly.
Hockey
- Bags may be stored in the dugout during matches
- No spectators in the dugout please
- Warm-up venue on High School Fields
- 10 minutes each way with a 2 minute break
- Teams must enter from the dugout. Please walk through the water and brush shoes.
- Exit through the gate near the swimming pool
Netball
- Bags can be stored in Pavilion classroom
- Warm-up venue on tennis court or C court
- Spectators to please stay behind demarcated lines
- Games to be started simultaneously
- 10 minutes each way with a 2 minute break
Squash
- All matches to be played PAR (point a rally) to 15
- Protective eyewear is compulsory
- In all cases the Festival Referees decision will be final. (Mrs Wendy Theron)
- Girls not involved in any other sports will be entertained with more social squash for an hour
Tennis
- Bags may be kept safe on the court against the fence up at the net
- Warm-ups must be limited to 5 minutes
- Timed Tennis will be played to avoid the games overlapping into Netball & Hockey times
- High School and Junior School Courts will be used.
- Girls not involved in any other sports will be entertained with more social tennis for an hour
Water Polo
- Bags will be kept safe against the wall near the town houses.
- Normal water polo rules apply. No time-outs.
- In all cases the Festival Referees decision will be final. (Mr Luke Crawford)
- Team mentioned first will wear white caps and start on the tennis court side
- All games will be 2 X 8 minute running time with a 2 minute break and 12 minute break before the next game
