Collegiate School

Collegiate Junior School boasts an excellent array of instruments for your child, encouraging your child to do their best in which ever instrument they wish to play.

All our lessons are taught during school hours, so to bring less inconvenience you and your child. Our music lessons are available to all students at an additional fee, we also have available instruments for hire if you wish to not purchase the instruments your child requires.

Currently we have on offer:
Piano – Pupils may start with Piano from Grade 3. Please also note that it is required that a piano is available a home so that they can practice. Other Instruments that tuitions are available for:emc

There are group and individual lessons with both piano and instruments. Pupils are prepared for both the Royal Schools of Music examinations and local Eisteddfod annually.

School band – rehearsals are before school , – 7:05am . Pupils perform at school and school related activities, local Eisteddfods and outside venues as well. Junior pupils are accommodated in a Training band.

School choir – pupils are auditioned at the start of each year (Grades 4-7). Theory – all instrumentalists are taught theory in their practical lessons by their teachers. .

Grade 6 and 7 pupils participate in the annual Collegiate School Carols Service together with the High school
