We were delighted yesterday afternoon, to receive a visit from Emmy and Amanda of Waste Trade, to teach us some of the basics about recycling and why we did it.
A good turnout of eco club girls listened with rapt attention to Emmy’s animated presentation. She reminded them of the three Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and added a fourth – we can simply Refuse to buy more ‘stuff’.
She also showed the girls some lovely products made with recycled materials.
